Karaoke at Mardi Gras Seafood
So, on Saturday we traveled up to Mt. Pleasant, TX to visit my mom and dad. We went to this seafood restaurant called Mardi Gras. It's a barn converted with picnic tables and a bar and a stage. There is a huge pot outside where they boil all you can eat craw fish. I ordered a boiled dinner. Shrimp, gumbo, a potato, corn cob. Dad got the craw fish (eyeballs and all) to the delight of the kids. When the karaoke started we all started teasing each other about going up and singing. My brother Max and I sang Jackson by Johnny and June Carter Cash. (Max totally rocked it, if you've heard me sing, enough said.) It was such a great time.
Max and I singing.
My handsome brother (don't forget the camera adds 10 lbs. and we had like 4 cameras)
